The Pickup Game documentary has embarked on a virtual community screening tour. We want to encourage groups to become actively involved in critical discussions surrounding the issues and topics raised in the film.
How to book your screening
Due to the restrictions in place to combat the spread of COVID-19, The Pickup Game has embarked on a virtual screening tour enabling educational institutions to view the documentary online in our virtual cinema.
Share discount codes with your students or bulk buy tickets then arrange your virtual event. Online Q&As with the filmmakers and contributors is also available.
15 Free tickets
All universities will be given 15 free tickets to watch the documentary. You are free to share these tickets among staff members or interest groups within the University.
50% DISCOUNT OFF ALL TICKETS
Share the unique discount code we provide with your students. We will send you a press pack to share on intranets and message boards.
Free educational Pack
Post screening the Universities can distribute the free educational pack (worth $200) among students to continue the discussion.

About the Screenings
In order to license the necessary rights needed for public screenings and to sustain both the filmmakers and the companies that created the documentary we need to charge screening fees.

Public Performance License pricing plan
The educational license is for all higher educational institutions, including public and private colleges, universities, community colleges, graduate schools, advanced degree programs, and medical schools.
If you are one of these institutions and would like to hold a screening in a theatre or auditorium then the below pricing would apply.

Public Performance Rights (PPR) are the legal rights to publicly show a film or video (media).
The rights-holder (or their designate) can assign PPR to others through a Public Performance License.
PPR are required if you are screening copyrighted media.
Honorariums and Q&A
The filmmakers and contributors would love to come and speak to the audience at the screening and as part of an after screening event.
$2000-4000
Invite the film directors to talk at your event.
$4000-5000
Invite the film directors and at least 1 contributor to talk at your event
The above cost are intended to compensate the filmmakers and contributors for their flights and accommodation along with providing a small contribution towards the time spent attending the screenings.
